Rewilding

Animal rewilding improves ecosystems, buffers natural disasters, sparks natural regeneration, and combats climate change. What benefits would come from human rewilding?

Human rewilding is the reclamation of our birthright, rather our obligation as humans to live and perpetuate wisely.

Our culture instills in us a belief that we are flawed, needing to be fixed by products and the plethora of pharmaceuticals.

Our environment has been irrevocably altered by human industrialization.

Our common food sources have been filled with preservatives and depleted of micronutrients.

Our average physical activities and body postures are detrimental to health and wellbeing.

Our instincts of engaging fully within nature, and even trusting our innate intuition, have been undermined and largely forgotten.

What does this mean for our wellness and reproduction?

  • Nearly 1/3 of birthing people are told that they are unable to birth vaginally and must have surgical birth. Why?

  • Up to 60% of all labors in the United States are induced, or started by medical means. Why?

  • Up to 60% of the general public of the United States have chronic health problems, up to 90% of those being preventable with alteration of common, modern lifestyle choices. Why?

Has the human species really forgotten how to function on such a large scale?

Birth is a normal life event. People who are low-risk can safely have a planned home birth, with fewer interventions, attended by a qualified midwife. Balancing the art of midwifery with judicious medical intervention encourages families to share the responsibility of wise health care decisions.

Good health is a normal life event!
